Lines split Outs from Ins. Some splits are ordinary:
others are extraordinary:
We border objects with lines on paper.
We create tangible lines out of fences and walls.
We create imaginary lines out of rules and laws. Political borders are lines, too. Can a border be beautiful in itself? Does the elegance of perfume shops in airports render the borders more appealing?
Lines come to mind straight. Yet, they may wrap us, build a net around us, or lose us in a maze. Try keeping the pencil on paper until you finish:
Let your hand free to line out a tree’s bark, rail tracks, or a trajectory to fulfill. Dormant things around us can be awoken just by a swift line tracing.
